Shipping Policy – Green Fish
At Green Fish, we deliver freshly caught fish from Harbour directly to our customers in Kollam and Trivandrum. Our shipping process is designed to ensure the freshest seafood reaches you within hours of being caught.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to:
- Kollam District (selected panchayats & town areas)
- Trivandrum District (selected panchayats & town areas and city limits and selected suburbs)
If you are outside our delivery coverage, please contact us to check for special arrangements.
2. Delivery Slots
- Restaurants & Caterers: Before 10:00 AM
- Home Customers: Between 10:30 AM – 12:30 AM
Orders placed for the same day will be delivered in the next available slot based on the cut-off time.
3. Order Cut-off Time
- Orders for same-day delivery must be placed before 8:00 AM.
- Orders placed after the cut-off will be delivered the next day.
4. Shipping Charges
- Free delivery for orders above ₹500.
- Orders below ₹500 will attract a flat delivery charge of ₹50.
5. Delivery Method
- All fish are transported in food-grade plastic crates with or without fresh ice.
- Our delivery vehicles are insulated to maintain freshness.
- No chemical preservatives are used.
6. Unavailability
If certain fish are unavailable after the morning auction, our customer service team will contact you to:
- Suggest alternatives, or
- Process a full refund
7. Missed Delivery
If the customer is unavailable during the scheduled delivery time:
- Our team will attempt a second delivery the same day (subject to availability)
- If not possible, the order will be cancelled and no refund will be issued due to the perishable nature of seafood
